3. Why we use it and our legal basis
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR / UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Arranging and running a demo, preparing a quote, answering your message | Your consent, and steps you ask us to take before a contract |
| Following up on that request by email | Your consent |
| Keeping the site secure, preventing spam and abuse, rate limiting | Our legitimate interests |
| Analytics and marketing cookies (only if you turn them on) | Your consent |
| Meeting legal, tax or regulatory duties | Legal obligation |
Under India's DPDP Act we rely on your consent, or on legitimate uses permitted by the Act. We do not use your data for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising as defined by California law. We share it only with:
- Service providers that host the website, run our email and keep our records, under contracts that limit them to processing on our instructions;
- Professional advisers, auditors and authorities where the law requires it;
- A buyer or successor if our business is reorganised or sold, under the same protections.
5. International transfers
We are based in India, and your data may be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data out of the EEA or UK, we use safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or rely on an adequacy decision. You can ask us for a copy of these safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Demo, quote and contact requests: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer;
- Server logs: up to 90 days;
- Your cookie choices: 180 days, then we ask again.
We delete or anonymise data after these periods, or sooner if you ask and we have no legal reason to keep it.
7. How we protect it
The site is served only over HTTPS with modern security headers. Form data is validated, rate-limited and kept only in the fields we need. Access is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- Correct or complete inaccurate data;
- Delete your data;
- Restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to direct marketing at any time;
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data and limit use of sensitive data (US state laws). We do neither;
- Nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated (India);
- Not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
To use any right, use the contact form and choose "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within one month (45 days under US state laws), and can extend this where the law allows. An authorised agent may make a request for you with written permission.
You can also complain to your data protection authority, for example your EU supervisory authority, the UK Information Commissioner's Office, or the Data Protection Board of India. We'd appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
9. Cookies and privacy signals
We use only strictly necessary cookies unless you agree to more. Optional cookies stay off until you opt in. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out. See our Cookie Policy or open your .
10. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you on the site or by email before it applies.
